Version 2.0.5 of Text2Speech has just been uploaded. This release fixes problems with the setting system. The options backend has been rewritten from scratch and some bugs in the frontend window have also been fixed.
I have also set up a mailing list on Sourceforge you can subscribe to to get release updates. It will be very low traffic (Once every couple of months when i update Text2Speech) but it will be the easiest way to keep up to date. Link.

- Rewritten settings class
- Options from now closes when you click save
- Fix bug where exit message option wasnt saving

I have uploaded Text2Speech 2.0.0 to The Pirate Bay to see what happens. I doubt it will be downloaded much, if at all, but it will be an interesting experiment just to see what happens.

Text2Speech version 2.0.0 has been released, bringing massive updates to every aspect of the application. The entire codebase was rewritten from scratch, replacing the old code, which had turned into a complete mess. The new release also includes several new features including exporting speech to wav (and hopefully soon MP3 or Ogg), saving and loading RTF files and selecting which Text To Speech voice you want to use, without going into the control panel.
There may be small bugs that i didnt find during testing (especially in Vista as i dont have access to it to test on) but most of the new code emulates the old code but in a cleaner way so most bugs should be minor.
